Better than striking lottery! (not i said one!)

Woke up hazy,
teeth not brushed
beard not shaved,
shower not taken.

Well,
shower taken.
Just no soap.

Woot.

Had a good breakfast
and the air was crisp and cool,
if rather dusty.

It looked as if the entire desert had shifted to Vientiane!

The whole day was overcast in a hazy shroud of dust,
with the perpetual smell of burning not unlike
what we experience in May and June.

Not sure where the burning was from though.

Developed a slight fever and cough.

Went for foot massage and the massause said
‘Sir, you are hot!’
The guy next to me looked at up and down,
and you could tell
he was wondering where I was that the massuse
felt was hot.
hhahaha…

I had to tell him I was feverishly hot…

Went to meet the Director of the Faculty of Education
at the National University of Laos.
And were introduced to so many people,
I think I finally understood how the pandas felt,
when they paraded around.

Nice campus,
big and spacious,
but dusty.
Definitely much bigger than the Royal Univeristy of Law and Economics,
where I was attached to last year.

Got the news that our luggages would arrive tonight!

Yippee!

Went to airport at 2000,
cos we were told to be there at that time.

Only to find out,
that the flight flew from Bangkok at 2000!

So chilled out and did nothing.
ahahhaa….

It was rather exciting,
and I swear,
Karen, one of the other participants,
gave a whoop of delight at seeing her luggage!

In her words,
it was better than striking lottery.

But give me $1million anytime!

So.

No excuse for not showering,
brushing teeth, shaving…
sigh…
