National Day!
It was indeed, a joyous occasion. The buffet dinner started at 1800 and ended at 2200. Suppposedly. So moi reached at 1845 lah. Then noticed all the ambassadors’ cars were already parked outside!
Ha!
Ops. Luckily I didn’t know anyone. Actually, I also didnt wanna go lah. But free dinner! SIngapore favourites such as chicken rice, chapati, and ice kachang. Where is the nasi lemak?
According to Chris Tan, GM of Novotel, he had to fly the chefs over to cook the dishes. Good job!
St Anthony’s Canossian Secondary School came over to specially perform for this event. Angklung, Indian Dance and some fusion dance.
Quite a good experience lah. Met some Singaporeans who are either doing business there or on government business. There is even a geography PhD candidate! May the 43rd year bring forth stability and prosperity.
