Couldn’t sleep till late last night as I was too tickled pink.

I was thinking of what to cook on Saturday, and thought perhaps brown rice with pumpkin and pasta sauce for added taste.

Then I burst out laughing at the silly (but potentially delicious and Naked Chef standard) idea. Then, I laughed at myself for laughing at my idea!

Ok… Am I going cuckoo or does this happen to everyone?

Woohoo!

No worries bout what I do during leisure time. I can entertain myself alright!

$2 for a 3/4 bar of Snickers!

Was dying for some comfort food, and went to a supermart with no idea of what to buy. Then I saw the culprits hiding in a corner of the shelf. Chocolates! Darn expensive they are. Almost twice the price of what I pay in Sg.

And worse thing, I only noticed the price after I bought them. 3 of them! Darn!

So got my sis and Socky to quickly send my some comfort food. Must be from Marks and Spencer! MUST! ok… hurry reach me pls!

Started Lao lesson.

Quite fun lah. But I am bored already. I mean, being the linguist that I am, I learn fast! NOT! So anyways,  I can manage speaking simple Lao already. Its the listening that is difficult. I guess it makes me think about their perspective when I teach them.

To speak slowly so that they will understand.

Olympics

Oh man! Phelps is totally my hero! But more than that, whenever I watched the China Gymnasts compete, especially the males such as Li Xiao Peng, Chen Yi Bin and Yang Wei, I understand why they were given such a rousing welcome. They ARE GOOD!

When compared to the rest, they managed to capture the speed and elegance, all rolled into one.

But my ultimate inspiration must surely come from the female weight lifter, Chen something… hahaha.

She is 30+ and when I saw your determination and perseverance, it was tear inducing.

Ok. I surely cant compete in the O.

But I will do it in the Channel Open Sea Swim!
