Random Ramblings

Busy week as a colleague had to go for meetings.
Covered her teaching duties and it was tiring,
to say the least.

But I really enjoyed the lessons as the students were so enthusiastic lah.

Felt rejuvenated and I look forward to sharing what I know with them!

Hope they feel the same.
And not blur!

Got a call from the post office that there was a parcel for me.
Had to collect it from the post office.

In it contained 3 mugs, 3 packets of Marks and Spencer puffs and 3 packs of Marks and SPencer chocolates.

Really felt touched by the gesture.

I am really getting used to being treated by students almost every day for lunch.

It’s either potluck in the classrooms,
or simple pho (pronounced as fur)- noodle soup with vegetables a plenty.

A colleague will be going to India for 3 months for English training next Tuesday.

Had like 3 lunches and tea in his honour.
Naturally,
I had to tag along.

Yummy!

But all the wine, beer and Lao Lao (Laos whisky)
oh man!

I had never drunk so much in my entire life!
And those who know me,
I cant drink for nuts lah.

But the camaraderie was something I really appreciated.
Such warmth and sincerity.

Simple food,
simple gestures,
convey countless thoughts and feelings.

I always suspected I am a super hero.

My suspicions are finally confirmed.

After my meditation under the moon,
absorbing the essence of the universe,
and the sun’s rays,
harnessing the energies from the stars and the moon,
my body has transformed.

I can survive on air.

And still put on weight!

Darn…

Wat kind of super power is this!

pretend to be busy in office that I am typing something.

the colleagues are cleaning the mess from the tea farewell to Xaythavong.

I wanted to help hor.
But they said,
its a woman’s job!
